Ear-Piercing Ceremony Catering

A vegetarian feast for the kaadhu kuthu ceremony, ready when the family returns from the temple.

Representative images

Kaadhu kuthu, the ear-piercing ceremony, is often held at the family deity's temple, with relatives travelling in for the day. After the ceremony comes the meal, and it has to be ready the moment the family returns. Children are at the centre of the day, so the menu keeps a few gentle dishes and sweets they will enjoy.

KAP Food Catering plans a strictly vegetarian ear-piercing feast: traditional South Indian meals with sambar, vatha kuzhambu, rasam, kootu, poriyal and pachadi, a payasam, and sweets for the children and the elders. We can cook for a gathering at a hall, at home or near the temple; tell us the place and we will confirm the arrangement. Our team serves your guests, keeps the rows moving and clears up after the meal.

This occasion is strictly vegetarian.
